Accidents at Work *

We specialise in obtaining compensation for injury sustained as a result of an accident at work.

Employers have a duty of care to their employees, regardless of if you work in an office, warehouse, or in public. Even occupations considered dangerous must be carried out as safely as possible with necessary training and suitable equipment. However, accidents can still happen. If your employer has failed in their duty of care, you may be entitled to seek compensation for any pain, suffering or loss of earnings as a result.

An accident at work can be serious and costly.  If you have been injured and it wasn’t your fault we might be able to claim compensation for you.  Typical accidents are:

  • Trips, slips and falls
  • Falls from height
  • Manual Handling
  • Defective equipment
  • Collapsing scaffolding
  • Falling objects
  • Caught in Machinery
  • Exposure to noxious fumes
  • Excessive noise

How we can help you?

Our experienced team will be in a position to advise you on all aspects of your accident at work claim including completing the application form to the Injuries Board, obtaining medical and expert reports, advising on awards, negotiating with Insurance Companies, Solicitors and third parties.  We are available to discuss with you all aspects of your personal injuries case to ensure that you receive the best possible award.

With the introduction of the Personal Injuries Assessment Board Act, 2003, all personal injury claims must be submitted to the Injuries Board (formerly known as the Personal Injuries Assessment Board) before an application may be made to the courts. We provide advice on the application procedure and assist you on taking the next step in your claim if you are not satisfied with the outcome of the Board’s decision and where this is necessary, will take your case through the relevant Court system advising you at all times and at all stages on every aspect of the procedure and proceedings from assembling your team of experts ( Engineers, Doctors etc ) to instructing Counsel and attending Court with you.
